A sleeper?

When I was initially surveying my banking options, WT Direct didn't really stand out from the crowd for me, but the fact that they offer a reasonable rate, with unlimited linked accounts, and a very robust ACH system (no deposit limits, and a $200k/day withdrawal limit) makes me rethink about adding them to my banking portfolio.
Although their 1.76% is by no means at the top of the charts - it currently beats out ING - and the customer service rep that I spoke with on the phone was just as friendly and knowledgeable as any ING rep I've spoken with (just maybe not as caffeinated).
WT is certainly smaller than ING, but you have to start somewhere, and it seems with only 10k required (because otherwise it's just 0.5%) it's worth taking a chance, even if just as a transfer hub (or a quick refuge for my cash at more risky institutions).
