Absolute, hands-down, worst customer service I've experienced. To begin, their phone menu doesn't give an option to get to the operator or just speak with someone about opening a new account or finding out more information about the accounts. The only path to the operator is to wait until they ask you to enter the extension of the person you'd like to speak with - don't push any buttons - and wait until that process runs out and you get kicked out to the general waiting queue. Thinking about pushing "zero" and getting to the operator? Don't. That cycles right back to the beginning, and the waiting starts all over!
Once I got to the general holding line, someone picked up after a minute or two. Couldn't answer my first question, and asked me to hold while she went and got someone else. I got put back on hold. About 2-3 minutes later a different person picked up - assuming I was a new caller - and although he didn't know a whole lot, he at least managed to stick with me and get a few answers to my questions (he didn't know himself).
I only really needed 2 pieces of information to write-off this bank.
1. Their ACH deposit limits are *more restrictive* then their ACH withdrawal limits, and neither are impressive ($5k/day vs. $10k/day). Why type of management team would want to place larger limits on the money coming in as compared to the money going out?
2. I looked high and low on their website for a fee schedule but couldn't find it, so I asked the customer service rep about it. He said they don't make their fee schedule publicly available, he said it gets mailed out with the welcome packet. I asked what if I wanted to actually look at the fees before deciding whether or not to sign up for an account. He didn't have a good answer.
That was enough for me. I'll be surprised if these guys are around for much longer.
