Citibank
I chose the "citibank account" checking because my best friend Amanda talked me into it. There were running some type of promo where you get a $50 gift card for signing up. I decided to use this account as a secondary checking account to stash money away for a vacation.
The main thing that I care about is the user friendliness of the banks website. That is where I review my transactions regularly and check my balance. The website was pretty nice and I get an "e-statement" in my email once a month. There are lots of bill-pay features as well, which I dont really take advantage of because its my secondary checking.
I did use the card at a restaurant and they charged it twice. I called in to check on the situation and they informed me it was only a "pending" transaction and it wouldnt go through. They were right, but the customer service agent was very hard to understand and was quick to get me off the phone with out assuring me of anything other than "dont worry about it".
Overall the bank is great, just don't expect them to give you any empathy for a situation as a customer if you need to call the customer service department.
