•   Great Service w/My Checking Account at BofA

  My wife and I have had a checking account at Bank of America since 1999. Although the ten thousand dollar minimum balance to waive the monthly service charges is a bit high, the customer service and convenience of Bank of America is outstanding. The interest rate isn’t great, but better than most other banks I have researched, and besides that, it is a checking account so you can’t expect to be making too much or a return. Since our account is pretty old in comparison to others, we have been grandfathered into a lot of perks that keep our account at Bank of America.
  We can deposit our money and immediately go withdraw it from the ATM, which has helped in numerous situations. The fact that Bank of America is in almost every city in America that we’ve traveled to helps out tremendously as I like to avoid any cross-banking fees that can occur from using alien ATM’s while in vacation. We were even able to obtain Euros from our recent jaunt across Europe through Bank of America and they took back the remainders upon our return, which halted a lot of the hassle out of that ordeal. Bank of America will continue to gain my business for years to come.
