A Better way to Bank
After moving recently, I had to relocate my bank as well. After using a small independent bank for over 14 years I was not looking forward to the process. Quite by accident, I had to go to a Chase Bank near my office. I was immediately stuck by the difference of the Chase branch and the experiences I had with my other bank.
The first thing I noticed is it was much more relaxed, I was greeted as I entered the lobby. The staff was professional and courteous. I inquired about new accounts and was given a brochure that clearly explained all my options and an employee answered the additional questions I had.
When it came time to open my new account several weeks ago, I visited a Chase branch near my home. Much to my surprise, I received the same wonderful treatment. Using a larger national bank offers me several benefits that were not available at my former bank. Security had been an issue at my old bank and the Chase employees went into great detail on how my account would be protected. Their systems had my online account set up before I even got home. Extra benefits included the Chase Reward Programs, Debit Card Sweepstakes, Teen bank accounts, extended banking hours, multiple national locations (now including all the Wamu branches), brokerage services and many other services offered at no cost or a very reasonable cost.
To date I have not had a negative experience to report. I received a wonderful thank you note from my personal banker, all my documents have been received in a timely manner and they are even processing the paperwork to have my Social Security check transferred to my new Chase account. I highly recommend Chase Bank to everyone.
